Direction of Bazookas, an all female three-hander about a woman and her two boobs. She navigates her frustrations with her body by addressing it directly. Instead of speaking to someone human about her issues, she goes straight to the source, her boobs themselves!
Working with groups of children ages 5-7 and 9-11, we developed two plays. The kids worked on character development, theatrical writing, memorization, and blocking. They finally focused on rehearsing their scenes to perform a play on a professional stage after a 10 week session.
I worked with older adults through the Atwater Library's creative programming. We assisted the development and creation of soundscapes and/or songs by participants. The final projects were a part of the library's Nuit Blanche installation in 2017
I was the Coordinator of this program for two years. I got student volunteers to come teach their artistic skills at Elementary Schools and Retirement Homes in the Finch area. We worked with Visual Art, Dance, Drama and Music to bring life to these spaces on weekday afternoons.
